Day 1:
Arrival to Athens airport and our Tour guide
will assist you and transfer to 4 star hotel
and free time to rest.
Walking in
old Plaka region will be one of your best
memory of this trip, The Plaka area also has
plenty of shops selling souvenirs, tourist
goods, t-shirts, Greek cotton clothes,
jewelry, leather goods, antiques, etc. Plaka
is also famous for its food stalls. There
are numerous taverns and restaurants
offering mouth watering Greek food.
The
Syntagma Square is the downtown of Athens in
the right sense. Remember the "Down Town"
song, I bet when Petula Clark sang those
words she meant a place like Syntagma
square. The place is always buzzing with
people. On one end you have a bunch of
youngsters zipping around on their roller
blades. On the benches you would find some
elderly people having a discussion among
them. |

Day 2:
After breakfast we
start half day Athens tour visiting
Acropolis-Agora- Olympic stadium and other
ancient sites, a professional guide will
tell us a The acropolis still dominates the
Athens skyline, and seems to rise above the
human realm. The acropolis was an important
site as early as the Bronze Age, when it
housed a Mycenaean citadel. In the 6th
century BCE, the Athenian tyrants would use
the acropolis as a base, but they were the
last of the ancients to live there. By the
time of the Classical Age, the acropolis was
home to the gods--not mortals. Further, the
burning of the acropolis during the second
Persian invasion (480 BCE) left the site
almost barren. It would not be until after
the middle of the 5th century BCE, at
Athens's material and cultural height that
reconstruction of the acropolis would occur.

Day 5:
Rome is a brilliant
city for any traveler with an interest in
culture, art or ancient history and is
arguably the most fascinating city in all of
Europe. The range of famous, spectacular
sights within easy walking distance is
staggering, the quality and quantity of art
on display is massive, every building tells
stories, every statue demands pictures and
every cobbled street evokes historical
scenes
Visinting The Colosseum
The
Colosseum is one of the most famous building
in the world and rates high on my list of
the most important archeological monuments
that I have ever visited. The Colosseum was
begun in A.D. 72 when it was originally
known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. The
Colosseum is known as such for it was built
by the three Flavian emperors, Vespasian,
Titus and Domitian. |

Day 6:
It is thanks to Peter,
the first Apostle and the first pope and
leader of the Church that the most important
basilica in the Christian world, the St.
Peter's Basilica, was built in Rome.
Peter was given his name by Jesus because he
was destined to be the foundation "stone"
(in Italian "Pietra") on which the church
would be built. He was certainly one of the
most enterprising of the Apostles to say the
least. He was imprisoned, and then
miraculously released, following which he
left Jerusalem and headed for Rome, the
"Capital of the World", which was the
centre of the immense Roman Empire at that
time |
| |
|

 |
Day 7:
St. Peter's Square
In the middle of the 15th century, the
basilica was falling into ruin and pope
Nicolas V ordered the restoration and
enlargement of the church after plans by
Bernardo Rossellino. After Nicolas V died,
works were halted. In 1506 pope Julius II
laid the first stone of a new basilica which
was to become the largest in the world.
Dome observatory
You can also visit the dome itself (entrance
is not free, but it's worth it). You have
the option of taking the elevator or the
stairs, the latter being a bit cheaper.
the church's dome
The elevator brings you to the bottom of the
dome from where a small, long and mostly
spiral staircase brings you to the top of
the dome. From there you have a magnificent
view of Rome and of the Saint Peter's square
in particular. The famous square with long
symmetrical colonnades was designed by
Bernini. It features a central obelisk and
two identical fountains. |

Day 8:
Discover Pisa using
two different tour routes! See all the main
sights aboard an open-top double-decker bus
and with 16 stops to choose from you can
hop-on and hop-off all around the city.
The world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is
only one of a trio of Romanesque splendors
on the green carpet of Piazza dei Miracoli -
a serious rival to Venice's Piazza San Marco
for the title of Italy's most memorable
square.
The tour will take you just next to the
wonderful Tower in Piazza dei Miracoli and
will continue to the Historical Center of
Pisa with its Lungarni, the streets along
the Arno river, and you can also enjoy an
excursion to the Parco di San Rossore, a
huge green area just outside the town. |

Day 10:
A complete tour of
Florence Italy can be finished in a day or
in a month. It depends on how much you enjoy
the myriad art exhibits at your disposal. a
small group walking tour of the Vatican

Every imaginable variation of Florence
walking tours includes a trip to the Duomo.
A wondrous and overwhelming sculpture in the
center of town, its giant golden dome is
visible all through Florence. The Uffizi
Gallery, bequeathed to the city by the
Medici family, is the culmination of three
centuries of intrepid art collection and
contains work by notable artists such as Da
Vinci, Michelangelo, and Botticelli. The
shops of Ponte Vecchio attest to the
extravagant lifestyle of the city's past.
Every shop along the bridge has a few
selections that cost more than your first
car.the queue by booking ahead. |

Day 11:
Welcome to Venice the
one and only city of the canals. This city
in the Veneto region, Italy, is known as the
most serene (the ‘serenissima’) among
Venetians for the tranquility that reigns in
its streets thanks to the absence of cars
and mopeds.
Millions of tourists come here every year to
